Ash Falcyon came from a once-thriving cyberpunk metropolis, Tripolis, a city caught in the chaotic flux of quantum storms and rogue AI control. He was a law enforcement operative specialising in cybernetic warfare, living a relatively peaceful life with his wife, Jekka, until everything changed. One day, Jekka vanished, but it was no simple disappearance—she was erased from every known dimension. Falcyon suspected the culprits were her employer, the Helixo Corporation, a mysterious and powerful interdimensional authority, whose motives remain unclear.
With no explanation and his world shattered, Ash searched for answers, finding only cryptic clues and whispers of the Paper Unicorns, beings who are said to know the only dimension where Jekka might still exist. To survive in this shattered reality, Ash underwent a series of augmentations, turning himself into a part-cyborg warrior, combining his combat skills with advanced technology.
As he hunted for leads, he encountered Avalon, an AI-controlled cybercar, which became his constant companion.
